Features: QtWeb is a free open source browser. It is based on Qt framework and WebKit rendering engine. It is secure, compact and portable. It has some unique privacy features and the user interface also is different. The user interface is customizable, it can be changed on the fly. Move Navigation Bar and Bookmarks Bar anywhere within a mainframe, or even unlock and place them on the Desktop. Show/Hide toolbar buttons and toolbars themselves (Menu Bar, Navigation Bar, Status Bar, Bookmarks Bar, Tab Bar). You can see how a web site would look under different versions of Windows and UNIX environments. You can customize who would provide web search, menu titles, hot key assignments and short cuts. You can choose to have a tabbed interface or a non tabbed one. Security features include private browsing mode, even the user agent can be masked. Full reset feature clears all cache, restores local settings to pristine conditions as in just after installation. SSL support to secure sites with certificate information and certification path being displayed.
The browser is very compact. The executable is only MB, mo additional DLLs or configuration files are needed. Command line scripting is available and it can be run from limited Windows environment such as WinPE or Ative@Boot Disk or BART PE run from CD/DVD/USB. A web inspector allows you view and inspect HTML elements, debug Java Scripts, and view loading time and profile resources. FTP browsing and downloading as well as auto fill of username + password are available too.
Overall: Quite a nice browser with some unique features. Gives you a nice browsing experience.
